Below are simple step-by-step instructions to help you open, edit, and customize your templates inside Canva.
No design experience needed — just follow the steps and make the designs your own!

1. Open the Template

  1. Click the template link provided inside the membership.

  2. You’ll be taken to Canva and asked to log in (or create a free account if you don’t have one yet).

  3. Click “Use Template” to open your own editable copy.

2. Customize the Design to Match Your Brand

You can change anything inside the template, including:

  • Text

  • Fonts

  • Colors

  • Photos

  • Icons

  • Shapes

  • Layouts

  • Elements

  • Backgrounds

Simply click on any element you want to edit, and Canva’s toolbar will appear with all available options.

3. Replace Photos With Your Own (Optional)

  1. Open Canva’s Uploads panel on the left.

  2. Drag your own photos into the editor — they will automatically replace the existing ones.

  3. You can also use Canva’s built-in photo library if you prefer.

4. Change Colors to Match Your Brand

  • Select any element

  • Click the color tile at the top

  • Choose one of your brand colors or enter a hex code

  • To update all similar elements at once, click “Change all” when Canva offers it (huge time-saver)

5. Edit Text

  1. Double-click the text

  2. Type your own copy

  3. Change font, size, spacing, alignment, color, and more

  4. Use your brand fonts if you have Canva Pro, or choose similar free fonts

6. Duplicate, Add, or Remove Pages

  • Click “+ Add Page” to expand the template

  • Use duplicate page for faster editing

  • Delete any pages you don’t need

This allows you to create full packs, guides, carousels, or entire marketing sets from one template.

7. Download Your Final Designs

When you’re happy with your edits:

  1. Click Share (top right)

  2. Select “Download”

  3. Choose your file type:

    • PNG / JPG → social media

    • PDF → ebooks, guides, worksheets

    • MP4 / GIF → animated designs

  4. Click Download

8. Tips for Best Results

  • Stick to 2–3 brand colors for a cohesive look

  • Use consistent fonts across all pages

  • Keep text short for social media templates

  • Replace photos with images that match your brand vibe

  • Save brand colors and fonts in a Brand Kit (Pro users)

  • Duplicate the master template before experimenting
